CHISAGO-ISANTI COUNTY HEARTLAND EXPRESS

Heartland Express to add Rush Line Extension Service starting March 14, 2011

Chisago-Isanti County Heartland Express will offer two extension routes to meet up with the Route 285 Commuter Bus service at Running Aces to St. Paul.       Heartland Express will work with the Rush Line Corridor Task Force in providing this new service, which is scheduled to start Monday, March 14.

The first expansion route will start at St. Bridget’s of Sweden in Lindstrom and the second will start at the park-n-ride located at County Road 17 and Interstate 35. Both will run two inbound trips to Running Aces in the morning and two outbound trips in the evening.

There will be a startup promotional fare of $1.00 per one way trip. Correct change is needed as our drivers cannot make change and the Metro Pass, Supersaver, U Pass and regional fare cards are not accepted at this time.
