Beginning the week of April 29^th , weather dependent, the Public Works Department will begin leaf pick-up.  The City will be divided into five sections (see map).  Section One will be picked up on April 29, Section Two on April 30,  Section Three on May 1 Section Four May 2 and Section Five on May 3.  Pick-up begins at 7:00 am.

The State of Minnesota's ENDING DATE for Spring Load Restriction in the CENTRAL FROST ZONE will be
May 13, 2013, at 12:01 A.M.

Chisago County will be removing all remaining road restrictions
Monday, May 13, 2013

PLEASE CHECK WITH INDIVIDUAL TOWNSHIPS FOR THEIR SPRING WEIGHT RESTRICTION LIMITS BEFORE USING TOWNSHIP ROADS.

The State of Minnesota has established the STARTING DATE of Spring Load Restrictions for all State roads in the METRO FROST ZONES - Friday, March 15, 2013 at 12:01 A.M.

Therefore Chisago County will be following the schedule below for posting County Road Spring Weight Restrictions:

For ALL county roads south of Hwy 95 the spring weight restrictions will be posted Monday, March 18th, 2013.

For ALL county roads north of Hwy 95 the spring weight restrictions will be posted Tuesday, March 19th, 2013.

NOTE:  At the discretion of the County Engineer the Weight Restrictions can be extended beyond the normal time frame.

• Chloride is available to City residents for Dust Control on gravel roads in North Branch.
• The cost for the chloride is $50 per 100 feet (minimum of 100 feet)
• If interested, please contact City Hall by May 31, 2013.
